Toxic Mike: No lobbyist check is too small

TLCV followed Toxic Mike Jackson money trail, and a couple of things become clear. Jackson gets 90% of his campaign contributions from lobbyists and special interests in Austin. Yep, that means that small time contributors and voters like you and me account for a mere 10% of Jackson’s almost 1 million in campaign contributions from 2002-2006. In fact, lobbyists and lawyers are Jackson’s single biggest class of contributors. Of course, the pollution lobby is in the top five.
